Amritsar to Vaishno Devi Darshan
Your spiritual journey begins with your arrival in Amritsar. After check-in at the hotel, begin exploring the sacred and cultural landmarks of the city. Visit the iconic Golden Temple, a spiritual haven and symbol of peace. Later, explore Jallianwala Bagh to pay tribute to India's freedom struggle. In the evening, head to the Wagah Border to witness the energetic Beating Retreat Ceremony. Overnight stay at the hotel in Amritsar.
After breakfast, check out and proceed towards Katra, the base town for the Vaishno Devi pilgrimage. Enjoy the scenic drive through the foothills of Jammu. Upon arrival in Katra, check into the hotel and rest. In the evening, you can explore the local market or prepare for the next day’s trek. Overnight stay at the hotel in Katra.
Early in the morning, begin your holy trek towards the sacred shrine of Mata Vaishno Devi, located about 13 km from the base. You can either trek on foot or opt for ponies, palki, or helicopter services (if pre-booked). After reaching the Bhawan, offer prayers and seek blessings. Later, continue to Bhairavnath Temple (optional but considered auspicious) and then descend back to Katra. Return to your hotel for much-needed rest. Overnight stay in Katra.
After breakfast, check out of your hotel and begin your return journey to Amritsar. Enjoy the drive back with memories of a spiritually fulfilling trip.
